Things to know before you make a purchase
Everything you buy at Denise Shardlow Designs has my hand involved in some stage of the process.
All merchandise is made by myself or local seamstresses I work closely with. I do the color detailing myself
and my interns & I cut the items before they are pieced together.
We have merchandise in our studio, but that being said, we are a
sustainable business and only have so much in stock at one time.
This means when you make a purchase, some of the items will be made to order.
We will contact you by email within hours to tell you the status of your item.
If you need a rush, please let us know & we will try to accommodate you. We ask you for a 2 to 4 week turn around time.
Here at Denise Shardlow Designs have made the commitment to keep all aspects of our business as local
& as sustainable as we can.
One of the advantages to this, is if you have minor requests (i.e. specific lengths)
we may be able to accommodate you.

Care & Washing Directions for Bamboo Viscose & Soy/Organic Cotton:
All fabric is put in the washer
& dryer before it is cut so that the fit will always be consistent.
Machine Wash Cold, Air Dry.
They can be placed in the dryer under low heat for a few minutes, but, as for all clothiNg,
the less heat involved in the laundering process, the longer the life of your garment.
Store flat or rolled.
To take out any wrinkles or freshen up between washings:
Mist lightly with a spray bottle filled with tap water.
The wrinkles will hang out in 15 minutes.
This property makes my clothing ideal for travel.
